Please join us for the 7th annual Adult Third Culture Kid (TCK) Retreat Friday, October 30 – Sunday, November 1, 2020.

This online retreat will touch on the practicalities of living in the United States in post-university years, as well as TCK themes such as identity, sense of belonging, diversity and inclusion and emotional well-being. The schedule will be set soon, but the general outline of the retreat includes a welcome session on Friday evening, two plenary sessions on Saturday and one session on Sunday morning.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Ruth Van Reken as the retreat speaker. She is the coauthor of “Third Culture Kids: Growing up Among Worlds,” and an internationally recognized speaker and writer on issues related to the global family. In 1998, she founded Families in Global Transition, an organization that has impacted TCKs and their families all over the world.

Because community, connections and relationships are a high value for this retreat, we are promoting small Hub locations for participants in regions to join together in-person for the online retreat. Please indicate interest on the registration form of either joining a Hub or hosting a group in your area.

Individual cost for the retreat is $20. Additional costs might include housing and food for Hub locations but will be divided by the Hub participants
